From iconic coastlines to winding rivers, our waters should be places where people and nature thrive. But right now, they’re being choked by sewage pollution, plastic waste, and toxic chemicals—a perfect storm that’s making water users sick and devastating our environment.
With the 2026 Senedd election results announced, we have newly elected representatives in Wales ready to hear what their constituents want. We need to be louder than ever.

We’ve spoken with communities, grassroots groups, and environmental organisations across Wales to help us develop a manifesto that can end sewage and plastic pollution for good. Whether you surf, swim, paddle, or simply care about protecting Wales’s natural heritage, there’s never been a more important moment to take action. This manifesto is yours to use. Start conversations with local communities and businesses, take it to newly elected representatives and ask what they and their party will do to deliver our asks, and let us know if we can support you. Sewage and plastic pollution are a real concern for waterside communities across Wales in this election. That’s why we ran hustings across the country from 12 – 16 April 2026, giving local communities a chance to ask their political candidates what their parties will do to tackle the sewage and plastic crisis.
