I’m a born and bred Londoner, but with Cornish grandparents I’ve always had a little bit of the county and the ocean in my heart.
I started my career in the financial sector, and large retailers, before realising that I fundamentally disagreed with the work I was doing. In real clichéd style I took some time out to travel, gain some perspective, train as a yoga teacher, become a vegan, and start making my own clothes. A move to the third sector was inevitable, and I spent some time at Greenpeace, before deciding to take the leap to Cornwall for the opportunity to work for SAS. I’m proud and excited to work for this amazing organisation that is fighting to protect the environment.
After 12 years commuting in London, I can’t quite believe that now I can see the sea from my desk, and I can’t wait to get in and learn to surf!
