Not quite sure if you’re confident enough to join the Paddle-Out Protest this year? Hopefully we can show you all the reasons you should give it a go.  

Our communities are all in this together, and we’ve tried to make it as accessible as possible.

United by a love of blue spaces, our Paddle-Outs are for everyone.  

You don’t need to be a surfer, or to think of yourself as an ‘activist’. Your activism might be standing on the shoreline, or it might be upfront with a loudspeaker. Whatever feels most comfortable.

There will be an event lead there on the day to bring everything together, and who you can ask questions.

You can ask any questions about specific events on the location’s Facebook page. Every event will have one, all current locations listed here. There will be more added, and more smaller DIY ones popping up! If you want to come solo, lots of people do, you could pop a message out to see if anyone else is doing the same.

As well as being a stark reminder of how many of us are affected by sewage pollution, these days are also fun. The energy is incredible. And being surrounded by likeminded people who all care is the icing on the cake.
