Your Million Mile Clean – All the docs you need

Here are all the docs you need for a successful clean!

Million Mile Clean documents

Risk assessment

Ensure that you check it against your cleans location, add any extra risks you think could be present, add the details of your clean at the top, including the date, location, leader details, – and have a copy available for the day.

Data Collection and Brand Audit

It’s vital to our plastic pollution work that we get an accurate record of the items and brands found during cleans. It’s only with this data that we can expose the retailers responsible, and push the government for change.

  • Data Collection Tally Sheet Guidance – take a look to understand how to record your data properly, and the best methods for gathering the data.
  • Data Collection Tally Sheet – please feel free to print out as many copies as you need for your clean. If you request any equipment from us we will also post out a copy.

Image consent forms

We love seeing your amazing work and hearing your stories. Please send us your photos that you’d be happy for us to share by uploading them here. Please ensure you get permissions from those photographed.

Assets to promote your clean

If your clean is public, why not promote it to invite as many volunteers to join as possible. We recommend creating a Facebook Event Page. Please email us if you would like to amend any details of your clean, including if you would like to change it to a public clean to be displayed on our map.

Please note use of our main SAS logo is restricted. Instead, to promote your clean please use the following Million Mile Clean assets:

Million Mile Clean certificates

For a job well done please feel free to offer out certificates to volunteers to congratulate them on their hard work – yourself included!
