Jake wears many hats. As a keen snowboarder and instructor, he’s witnessed first-hand the shifting climate, and the effect it can have on action sports and communities. Having studied Architecture Technology and the Environment at university, Jake’s professional focus has been on sustainability in the built environment, both in practise and hands on. Through his current work at Down to Earth Project, Jake gets to combine his passion for natural building, youth work and outdoor activities on the beautiful Gower peninsular. Being a regional Rep for Surfers Against Sewage allows Jake to give back to the community that has given him so much, whilst meeting lovely people along the way. When Jake’s not working with Surfers against Sewage, you’ll most likely find him on a beach – surfing, volunteering with Surfability or walking his dog.
