I have always had a real passion for conserving our beautiful coastlines and all their related biodiversity. This probably developed through spending most of my childhood in Cornwall and has subsequently lead me to studying Environmental Science at Uni and qualifying as a Marine Mammal Medic to attend coastal strandings.
It was at the University of Southampton where I discovered a love for surfing and combined my two passions through undertaking a four-month internship in the SAS office! I loved my time at SAS HQ and even helped to set up the Beach Clean Boxes so it’s amazing to see them all being used! I hope I can continue to contribute to the whole SAS effort through spreading the word on the South Coast.
