The Moondance Foundation is a family charitable foundation, set up by Diane and Henry Engelhardt to further their family’s philanthropy and giving.
Henry and Diane believe that the Moondance remit is to change lives for the better and that philanthropy should step in where governments either cannot, dare not or do not have sufficient resources. They believe that philanthropy should not be blinkered by borders but that the first place to look where to help is one’s own backyard.
The continued support from The Moondance Foundation towards Surfers Against Sewage’s education work has allowed us to grow our reach, ambition and impact.
As a result we’ve been able to deepen our work, and share our expertise more widely to upskill educators and unleash the power of young voices to confidently lead environmental initiatives and spark lasting environmental and social change.
