I grew up in the South West and after spending three years studying in London, realised life in the ‘big smoke’ wasn’t for me.
Drawn to the sea, I moved to Cornwall in 2010 and joined international disaster relief charity, ShelterBox. Starting in a supporter care role I was lucky to be able to spend lots of time talking to donors and supporters. Those conversations sparked my passion for Individual Giving and Supporter Insight – and I spent the next 9 years growing the team and creating campaigns raising millions of pounds to provide shelter for families left with nothing.
But having always had a passion for the environment and the coastline right on my doorstep, I jumped at the chance to join Team SAS in 2019.
When I’m not in the office creating plans for our next campaign to raise vital funds to save the ocean, I love exploring Cornwall, reading a good book and eating hearty food. I’m also quite fond of woolly jumpers.
