Trusts & Foundations

From building our amazing network of volunteers to helping us become one of the leading beach clean charities in Europe, Trusts & Foundations have helped us to grow and develop significantly and we’re extremely grateful to all those who support us!

Meet the team and see our work first hand!

If you would like to donate through your Trust we can arrange a visit to our office in St. Agnes to meet the team who deliver our work. One of the best ways to see the difference we’re making is to come along to one of our beach cleans or school talks and meet our volunteers, we’re always happy to arrange this. We work all across the UK so we can arrange this wherever you’re based.

Reporting

We love keeping people who have supported our work updated on progress so you can see the real difference your support has made.

To talk about our work and how you could support it please call or email Pete Lewis Head of Fundraising, [email protected] / 01872 555958.

Testimonials:

“I only hope that other grant making organisations see the brilliance in taking a chance on these groups of tomorrow and break with the traditional CSR box ticking of supporting large, generic organisations, rather than the cutting edge, at the coal face, community based groups who have incredible impact with the funding on offer.”

The Body Shop Foundation

The Crown Estate is currently providing funds for a national programme of beach cleans, which follows on from a pilot beach clean series in North Devon. In supporting these initiatives our aim is to assist efforts to reduce the amount of litter accumulating in the marine environment, whilst highlighting the issue of marine litter and promoting the link between coastal environmental protection and the sports & people that rely on a clean coastal environment.

We are extremely impressed with how well both initiatives have been organised and promoted to date, and with the approach taken by SAS in working with communities to highlight this important marine issue. It is important for us to work with organisations to develop projects wherever possible and SAS have been very responsive in understanding our organisation and the requirements of our statutory remit. The team has been a pleasure to work with and we are pleased to continue our association with the programme.

Fiona Wynne – Stewardship Manager, The Crown Estate
