What is a virtual run?

A virtual run is a challenge that you can undertake whenever and however you like. You mad decide to challenge yourself to run 5km in your garden, 10km on your balcony or choose a route to challenge you from your front door.

Can I do it with people?

Yes and no!

Physically, you can only do it with members of your household. Remember to remain more than 2 meters apart from anyone else you see and to run within the current guidelines.

Virtually, gather all your friends and family and do this challenge together! It might be that you pick a specific time on Monday 8th June where you all run together and then report back on how you found it.

How do I fundraise?

Once you have registered, we will send you out a link to our Just Giving page where you can set up your fundraising page. When you have set up your page, share it far and wide with friends, family, colleagues and anyone else you can think of. Use this space to tell people what you’re doing and why; and don’t forget to use the blog section on your personal fundraising page to keep people up to date with your training and the run itself!

How far should I run?

This is your decision! You may choose to finally beat your personal best on a 5km run, or run a marathon across the month of June. Don’t forget to track your run and share updates on your fundraising page. Every step counts and will help to protect your ocean.
