REEF supports Surfers Against Sewage by taking part in the Million Mile Clean
Surfers Against Sewage’s biggest plastic pollution campaign to date sees 100,000 volunteers doing 10 miles of cleaning every year. Whether it’s cleaning beaches, rivers, streets or mountains, we want to see our public spaces free from plastic pollution.
REEF was founded in 1984 by two brothers, where a ridiculously comfortable sandal was created to keep up with their active lifestyle. They soon moved to California to develop the REEF brand and the rest was history.
Now, 38 years later, REEF are still at it. They are encouraging communities around the world to embrace the fun, freedom and spirit of the beach. So whatever you’re doing, REEF sandals keep you ridiculously comfortable, relaxed and free.
Most importantly, REEF have pledged to hep protect our beaches and oceans so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy it.
“We believe there is a connection between our well-being and our beaches. A birthplace and soul of our brand, a place we respect and protect, where fun and freedom come to life. As founders of the REEF x Surfrider Better Beach Alliance, we’re dedicated to plastic pollution initiatives through beach clean-ups and environmental legislation.
We are really pleased to join forces with Surfers Against Sewage to continue our initiative in the UK. Our global pledge for 2022 is to host over 1,000 beach cleans and remove 125,000 pounds of rubbish.” – REEF
We are delighted that REEF supports Surfers Against Sewage with our collaborated beach cleans.
