SAS is committed to Creating Ocean Activists Everywhere and is driven by people who use our ocean, beaches and rivers – and is not just for surfers and not just about sewage! Having grown up in Cornwall, I love being near the ocean and have had the privilege of living in several different places by the sea including Dublin, Hong Kong and Dubai. Travel has been a constant in my life and, having visited more than 60 countries across the world, I have seen the best and worst of our amazing planet and our impact on it. My family and I recently returned to Cornwall and settled in beautiful Falmouth – I look over the sea from my home and love that I can walk my dog on the beach every day – rain or shine!
I have a daughter who is a passionate diver and marine conservationist studying for a BSc in Ocean Science; a movie-mad son who wants to be a film director (Blue Planet?!); and a very practical – and patient – husband who embraces our love for house renovation and interior styling by bringing my decorating vision to life.
After a long, international career in the commercial sector as a leader of countries, multi-country regions and global functions, I am bringing my passion for people development and proven success in creating high performance teams to help SAS continue to be sustainable, authentic and impactful and to deliver our vision of Thriving Ocean, Thriving People.
