Pete Lewis
Director of Fundraising
As a keen surfer I’ve always been passionate about protecting the marine environment. I started my career in Corporate Event Management and then moved into the charity sector working for Whale & Dolphin Conservation (WDC). After 5 years in various fundraising roles I was lucky enough to be offered a role at SAS. I’ve now been with the charity for 10 years, during this time we’ve grown our income and impact immeasurably and I’m proud to be part of one of the most exciting marine conservation charities in the UK.
I lead the team responsible for income generation at SAS, connecting our amazing supporters who want to change the world with the team at SAS who are.
A graduate of Exeter University my degree was in Business & Management, I also have the Diploma in Fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising.
I live in St. Agnes, Cornwall with my wife and 2 children.
