Chris has 16 years PR consultancy experience running consumer, business to business, corporate and trade campaigns for some of the best known brands in the UK.
He is the Managing Director of M&C Saatchi PR and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. He also plays a strategic and creative role across all agency clients including Currys, PC World, Pixmania, Travelex, Orange, 3M and T-Mobile.
Chris was previously a board director with Talk PR and ran the agency’s consumer brands division where he oversaw consumer and business to business campaigns for existing clients DSGi and Travelex and former clients, O2, Disney, Hunter and Bicester Village. Chris also created DigiTalk, Talk PR’s digital division which has run campaigns for Fosters, Pixmania, and Scholtes. Launched in 2009 the division’s work was recently shortlisted for the Best Use of Social Media award at the 2010 Revolution Magazine Awards.
As well as brand building Chris is also an expert at news generation and has a flair for creating national coverage across all media. His story credits include the DVD launch of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean 2 which generated record breaking global editorial for Disney, the launch of the galaxy’s first unit of currency, the QUID, the invention of Nerdic and the first ever prenuptial agreement for gadget lovers, the e-nup. His work has been shortlisted for two PR Week Awards.
Past agency experience includes Le Fevre Communications where he directed consumer campaigns for Dixons, The Link, Currys, Dulux, Crown Paints, BT Cellnet and Egg. He also worked at Kaizo, where he ran business to business campaigns for major technology companies such as Fujitsu, 3com and Wyse Technology.
He is a passionate surfer and spends much, if not all of his available free time chasing waves in Wales and across the South West.
