Hey, I’m Zoe and I’m incredibly passionate about protecting our oceans! I’ve always lived close to the sea and spent family holidays camping and exploring new shorelines around the UK.
I’m currently doing a scuba diving scholarship, which has made me feel even more connected to the sea, and I’m also very fond of paddle boarding.
During my Biological Sciences degree, as the Volunteering Officer of the Biology Society, I was responsible for running events such as beach cleans and a British Science Week stand.
I was also a founding member of Students Against Single Use, running a successful campaign to replace single use plastic cups in our Student Union with reusable alternatives.
Being part of Surfers Against Sewage is an honour and I’m excited to assist with the cause; encouraging change, taking action and hopefully inspiring others to help with protecting our environment!
