Tamani Beare
Rosudgeon - South West Rep
I am 15 years old and I have spent my life living next to a beautiful stretch of Cornish coastline, overlooking Mounts Bay and Cudden Point. I am lucky enough to live on a family farm, which stretches down to the sea.
I have witnessed first hand the amount of plastic that is washed up on the beach at the farm every year, and I want to help educate my generation about the crisis that we face.
I am the co-founder of the Youth Strike 4 Climate protests in my local area and will continue to raise awareness through the success of these strikes.
As a family we have been members of SAS for many years and can see the huge benefits of becoming involved.
When not at school I spend my time surfing and am very passionate about keeping our oceans clean. When I finish school, I plan to study Wildlife Conservation and continue my passion to conserve the natural world through my work.
