I have lived in Cornwall all of my life, and was on the beach and in the water whenever I could be. The beach to me is a place that I can feel stress-free and at my happiest. As I’ve got older I’ve begun to realise how enormous amounts of plastic pollution are affecting our seas, beaches and Cornish coastline close to my heart, especially Porthcothan , which is devastating.
I then knew that conservation was something I was extremely passionate about and what I want to devote my life to. More than anything I want to be able to do my part in helping correcting our own mistakes, through education, promoting sustainable living and inspire people to get back in touch with nature. Ensuring that our oceans, planet, and the beautiful animals and plants that inhibit them, which we heavily depend on, are going to have a future. And to help provide a safe natural world for younger generations to thrive in, rather than dedicating their lives to mobile phones and social media.
