“The cure for everything is salt water. Sweat, tears or the sea.”
I live my life by that phrase and think the sea really can cure all. There’s something both invigorating and serene about the ocean that I just can’t get enough of.
I grew up in Portsmouth with the beautiful old ships and stony beach of Southsea. After moving to Bristol and to London I’ve now settled in Surrey. Still a little too far from the coast for my liking but I spend as much time as I can in the West Country and elsewhere, taking in the salty air.
Even away from the coast everyone has a role to play in saving our seas. Myself and my friend and neighbour Natalie want to start driving change in our community. We’ve made many little changes to our life and think if everyone could do the same we’d make a really big difference.
