An ocean loving, wild swimming, tree hugging marine biologist here!
After migrating to the south coast for uni, I discovered an enthusiasm for marine conservation and communication. I’ve chased this dream all the way to Galapagos and back several times, where I was lucky enough to work with some of the most passionate and knowledgable people I’ve ever met.
While working in the Galapagos Islands, I noticed the huge amount of plastic washing up and decided to start a research project with the aim of finding out where it’s coming from.
I worked with many different organisations, all with the shared goal of conserving their oceans and educating people about the issues facing them. This really inspired me to connect with SAS to find a local group of like minded people in sunny Southsea, a place I love calling home.
I hope that by working together we can help protect our local coastlines and creatures.
