Newquay - South West Rep
My love for the sea started at a very young age from travelling down to Cornwall on family holidays. It was then when I first learned how to surf and how incredible the ocean is, I insisted in participating in a surf life saving course at a young age and wanted as much involvement as possible.
I decided a little later to move to Falmouth to complete a Performance Sportswear Design degree. Here I researched ways where brands can do their part in reducing their impact and recycling. I created my final collection out of sustainable fabrics and primarily from Eco-nyl and recycled plastic.
Further to this, I went travelling to Bali and Australia, visiting every break possible and being shocked by the pollution everywhere and realising it’s not just a nationwide problem it’s global.
I moved back up North and it shocked me how little people more inland are aware of the current and growing state of the seas and the pollution, and what impact we’re having personally.
I have now moved back to Newquay and want to bring as much awareness as possible and make a real difference.
