I’m a proud Plymouthian who has grown up in a family of passionate surfers. The beach has always been an important part of my family’s lives. The beach for me personally is where I go to solve life’s problems and celebrate all the good things that it brings.
It is important to me that it is looked after as much as possible and as a family we are always picking up rubbish when out and about. In recent years the amount we collect has increased. Having 4 children of my own and working in a primary school it is more important to me than ever before to protect the ocean, so that the younger generations can enjoy it as I do. I believe education is the key. Young people are so passionate about helping and as a parent that passion rubs off on you.
