I am very lucky to have spent most of my life in Cornwall and have gradually moved closer to the sea over the years. I live in Hayle with my young family and also spend every summer holiday on the Lizard peninsula running our own adventure business. Most of my working life was as a Geography teacher and the drive to educate people about the value of the natural environment remains with me.
I am excited about becoming a Regional Rep and have really enjoyed organising the beach cleans in Hayle over recent years. I now find it impossible to go for a walk on the beach without taking some black bags! I aim to use my educational background to engage with young people in the local area and inspire our next generation of marine activists.
