Amy Morton
Hereford - Central Rep
Having grown up on the Moray Firth in the Highlands I’ve always been a sea lover. My childhood is filled with memories of beach combing and carefree days in this beautiful part of the world. Working as a Veterinary Nurse on a turtle project off the coast of Italy I was exposed to how much of an issue plastic pollution is to our already threatened sea creatures and this was the driving force behind me deciding to try and do more to help. Despite not being coastal now I’m hoping by becoming a rep I can push the source to sea concept and make people living inland much more aware of the impact their behaviour can have on our oceans as well as motivating them to become more involved in groups like surfers against sewage.
