As a Cornishman I have always been lucky enough to grow up around the sea, marine life and have been interested in the environment all my life, as a keen fisherman, forest school leader, amateur Photographer, sailor, diver and former coastguard our current situation has always been on my radar undertaking many beach cleans
I now live and work in the Channel Islands full of outstanding beauty, nature, rich in history never far from the sea and an amazing plastic free community.
As a father with a young family who share my passion for the outdoors, nature and having a key responsibility within my Job role has been the key driver that make me want to make a difference and share the enthusiasm
We are often seen as a family out and about like so many, undertaking an unofficial beach clean and all share the major concerns of the impact to our environment.
To be part of The SAS Community is a real privilege, I hope to help educate, promote, protect and ensure our next Generation have and fully respect the environment we had as children (nature’s playground)
