Seas for life aims to teach the principles of sustainability, in a fun and engaging way.
Seas For Life covers SAS’s campaigns on water quality, marine litter, climate change, toxic chemicals, shipping and coastal wave protection. It also addresses the concept of citizenship and how students can have a positive impact on the marine environment to contribute to safeguarding fisheries, oceans, waves and beaches, and other coastal assets.
The key National Curriculum learning outcomes that the Seas For Life SAS Sustainable Coastal Communities educational programme covers are:
