A positive motion for bottle deposits has just been put forward to the Scottish Parliament. The more support it gets, the faster it will happen, and the sooner we will see plastic free coastlines.

Can you contact your Member of Scottish Parliament (MSP) asking them to sign this motion?

When contacting your MSPs, make your message personal, mention finding bottles and cans on Scottish beaches, parks and other environments that are important to you.  Tell your MSPs that a deposit return system with help us deliver plastic free coastlines by dramatically reducing plastic pollution and increasing recycling.

You can find your MSP here. You have a constituency MSP and a number of regional MSPs. The most important one to contact is your constituency MSP, but if you have the time please contact as many regional representatives as you can
