Normally, at this time of year we would be getting ready to take school groups to the greatest classroom on Earth; the beach!
Since these are not normal times, we thought we would bring Ocean School to you instead.
Until the end of July, we will be hosting live lessons on our Facebook and Instagram pages and updating this page every week with new resources to accompany the lessons.
Make sure you tune in on Tuesday mornings at 11am on Facebook or 11.30am on Instagram to find out what we’ll be learning about each week and find out what your challenge will be.
We’ll be creating new resources each week for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 so there will be something for everyone aged 5 – 14. To access the resources, scroll down to the Timetable and Resources section below and click on the relevant week.
This timetable shows you what’s happening when so you can be ready to join in either from home or from school with our live lessons on Facebook and Instagram.
You don’t have to join us live and if you miss a week it won’t affect the other lessons so please join in as and when you can and make use of the resources below. All the past lessons will be posted under the corresponding weeks below so you can re-watch or catch up whenever it suits you.
We’d absolutely love to see what you get up to so please share your work with us on social media by tagging us @surfersagainstsewage and using #OceanSchool. If you’ve got any questions at all please feel free to drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also check out our #WavesOfOptimism campaign to help spread waves of optimisim and positivity from your windows.
