How long have you been surfing? over 15 years!

What does surfing mean to you? It gives me a direction in which to live and a definition of self, while being the most fun, self-indulgent activity I know.

Where around the world have you surfed? pretty much every where, Europe, oz ( E & W) , N & S America, Hawaii, indo, Maldives, arctic, Belgium, Africa etc...

Where are the most pristine waters you have surfed in? Maldives and Madeira

Where are the most disgusting waters you have surfed in? The black middens, tynemouth.... although they have got a lot cleaner recently..... there are even reports of salmon returning to the tyne.. hoorahhh!

Why is SAS needed? it gives any environmentally aware recreational water user a point of contact to express their views, and it can act as a unified voice to represent our collective concerns about our oceans to the people in power who need to be addressed. SAS also acts as a tool to bring about actual , positive change.
