EU DELIVERY

If you live in the EU you will be charged £4 + 10% of the order value for postage. If your order is particularly heavy we may have to charge a little extra but we will not charge you until we have contacted you to let you know how much the postage will be.

DELIVERY TO THE REST OF WORLD

We accept orders from USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, but due to extensive money laundering antics and card fraud, we have been put off accepting orders from elsewhere! Standard world rate is £4 + 20% of the order value, but if your order is particularly heavy we may have to charge a little extra but we will not charge you until we have contacted you to let you know how much the postage will be.

Orders will usually be sent by air mail which normally takes 3 working days to Europe and 5 working days to the rest of the world. We post overseas parcels every Friday, but if you need your order urgently please let us know and we will endeavour to post it as soon as possible.

IMPORT DUTY

All the prices on our website and in our catalogue are in pounds sterling and include VAT. When we receive an order from outside the EU we will refund the VAT.

However products ordered from our site for delivery outside the EU are exempt from UK standard rate VAT (where applicable) butmay be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.

We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

You must make sure that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

PACKAGING

Our envelopes are made from 100% post consumer waste recycled paper and our mailing and garment bags are environmentally friendly 100% degradable and reusable mailing bags. When these bags eventually enter the waste stream they degrade into carbon dioxide, water and a very small residue (<5% of the original mass) of non-toxic, inert mineral material.

Our garment bags are made using biodegradable corn starch or biodegradable Degradamailers. The corn starch bags break down harmlessly into the environment within weeks when composted (they will only biodegrade if put in a compost bin, so please don't throw them in your regular bin thinking they will compost).

To reduce waste we also reuse packaging that we've received on incoming orders where possible (eg bubble wrap and padded envelopes).

RETURNS and EXCHANGES

We want you to feel absolutely confident buying on line from us, so we don't quibble about doing returns or exchanges. If the item is faulty we will happily exchange or refund it - if you use our freepost address you can return it free of charge to us: Surfers Against Sewage, FREEPOST SWB40874, St Agnes, Cornwall TR5 0ZZ.

If you don't like the item or it doesn't fit we'll be happy to exchange or refund it, however the freepost address cannot be used for these returns. We would be very grateful if you could contribute to the cost of posting the replacement to you, so please enclose a £4 cheque with your item to be exchanged.

We know that you know we are a fundraising outfit here at the SAS Shop, and you realize we are trying to make money to keep the campaign afloat. Therefore we trust you not to make stuff unsellable (by washing or wearing) before you return it.

We don't like being strict, but in certain cases we may not be able to exchange or refund an item if it has obviously been abused!

If you would like to return an item, you must do so within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or refund. Unfortunately we cannot exchange underwear for reason of hygiene, unless they are faulty. Please complete and enclose the Returns Form supplied with your delivery, and send it to us along with the unused item in its original packaging by secure delivery to the address given on the returns form. We recommend that you return goods by recorded delivery and retain proof of postage.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We use Sagepay to handle our online credit card transactions, we do not hold any credit card numbers on our website.

The Sagepay payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Our internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Sagepay to obtain secure information.

Transaction Security

The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the retailer's site to Sagepay is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.

Security for the Shopper

Any communication between the customer and Sagepay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuer.
