  • Personal mission statement  – to help make people aware of the current SAS related issues in my area and do my best to make sure that we carry on improving and protecting the marine environment. To try and get as many people to feel involved as possible along the way.

I have been involved in SAS for about 15 years now. From the time when I used to windsurf in Aberdeen and couldn’t work out why I often felt so ill after a sail…then later found out I was in an area where raw sewage was being pumped out, I have always wanted to help clean up the seas and remove the health threat to recreational water users. I now live in Edinburgh and spend as much time as I possibly can surfing and at the beach.
