SAS/O'Neill Cornish and Open to be completed on Saturday 1st September

The SAS/O'Neill Cornish and Open 2007 will be completed on its roll-over date of Saturday 1st September at Porthtowan beach.

After some fantastic surfing from the juniors and earlier rounds of the Open, Longboard, Bodyboard and Ladies divisions, the event was postponed last Sunday due to worsening surf conditions, having already been moved from Porthtowan to St Agnes beaches.

Still to come will be the Open Final and semi-finals and finals of the Bodyboard, Longboard, Masters and Ladies divisions.

Andy Cummins, SAS Campaigns Officer says: "There's only ½ day of surfing to be completed, but arguably it will be the most exciting of the event as those competitors left in the contest will be charging to get top spot on the podium of a contest that is now in it's 40th year".
