The Stars Donate For Sas As Celebrity Auction Is Launched

As part of Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) 15th anniversary celebrations a fundraising auction of items donated by supportive celebrities will be launched on the 1st July,

All the items being auctioned can currently be viewed on the SAS website and there will be links from their website to the items on eBay from 1st July when the auction starts.

Items for sale include donations from REM, Oasis, Jack Johnson, Feeder, Joni Mitchell, The Darkness, Donavon Frankenreiter, Paul McCartney, Pink, Oasis, Athlete, Cher, Peter Gabriel, Anita Roddick, Ewan McGregor, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, The Tragically Hip,Steve Redgrave, UB40, Mis-teeq, Less Than Jake, Ash, Echo & The Bunnymen, Jonathan Porritt, The Divine Comedy, Jo Brand, top surf photographer Tara Moller, current British champion Robyn Davies, 2004 British champion Alan Stokes, 2001 English title winner Lee Bartlett, current English longboard champion Ben Skinner, big wave charger Dan ‘Mole’ Joel and 12 of the Roxy Team Riders including 2004 World Title Champion Sofia Mulanovich

Wendy Nicolson, SAS Office Manager says: ‘We’re really grateful to everyone who has shown their support to SAS by donating items to our auction. High profile fundraisers like this are a fantastic way to raise awareness about our clean water campaign and raise essential funds which enable us to continue representing the voice of every water user and water lover.’
