Good Turnout For The Boscombe Pier Paddle!

Around 40 paddlers from the Bournemouth region helped raise almost £1000 for SAS and RNLI Beach Lifeguards in the first Paddle Round The Pier event held in the region.

Boscombe Pier was the venue for this fun event that took place on Saturday 2nd July. A small windswell greeted the paddlers and was enough to provide a short shorebreak session after the paddle for everyone involved.

A big thanks from SAS and the RNLI beach Lifeguards to all those taking part and in sponsoring the event which has helped to raise awareness about the clean and safe seas message.

WATCH OUT FOR NEXT YEAR – AS WE’RE HOPING TO RUN THE EVENT AGAIN!
