The night kicked off with the hot newly signed Thirteen Senses. From Cornwall, this exciting band gave us a 30-minute introduction to their music. A blend of powerful melodic rock, full of awesome spine tingling moments -already tipped as the next Coldplay, watch out for this lot, we predict they are going to be huge!!!

Next up Dorset-born Clams gave a powerful punchy set full of rock anthems!!! Think Nirvana meets Black Sabbath and your somewhere close to this exciting band…SAS prediction - also destined for great things!!

11.30pm saw four guys from Deptford, South London take to the stage - headliners for the night ATHLETE could not hide their surprise at the
reaction they received "we've never been to a ball like this before" commented front man Joel, "knowone's wearing a dinner jacket"!

Delighting the 1000 plus audience the band delivered a storming set which included the superb 'You Got The Style' (major sing along!!!) as well as El Salvador and title track from their stunning debut album 'Vehicles and Animals'

Athlete were a perfect choice to headline this year's Ball, even if you didn't know their songs you couldn't help but get caught up in the amazing atmosphere. SAS Productions strive to deliver good line-ups at their events and have now earned a reputation for not only booking the big names but also spotting the new up and coming bands. Katy Thomas, SAS Events

Thanks to our sponsors Animal and Just Add Water for their amazing support. Thanks also to the Old Firestation (a superb venue!) and of course to all the bands, DJ Doug and all those who came to the gig and enjoyed one of our best events!!
