SAS Hard Core Fund

SAS want to say a massive 'Thank you' to all these businesses, fundraisers and supporters who have made a donation to the SAS HARD CORE FUND in 2009 - the fund that helps SAS maintain the core campaigning that SAS is all about!

Aaron Jennings is donating 10% of the royalties from his novel Chasing Dreams to SAS. Chasing Dreams is set against the backpacking and surf world in Thailand, and will make your feet itch to hit the road! SAS would like to say a huge thank you to Emily Howard, who organised Dodd Stock festival and donated £570.44 from the proceeds to our campaigns.

Thanks to Steve Crawford, whose fantastic 16 mile stand-up paddle raised £200 for SAS.

In September of last year, SAS member Sara Dowler walked an incredible 280 miles along the Cornish coastal path to raise a fantastic £150 for SAS!  Sara also raised £150 each for four other organisations - fantastic work Sara and thank you so much!

Big thanks to SAS member Dale Ryan who ran the Cardiff Half Marathon back in October 2008, in just under two hours, to raise £61.50 for SAS!

SAS supporter Ray Matthews organised a fantastic music and comedy night at The Driftwood Spars in St Agnes and raised a fantastic £115.52 - thanks to everyone involved in the night - especially to Ray!!

SAS member Steph Davies has raised £25 for SAS through sales of her beautiful handmade jewellery, mirrors and picture frames, made from seaglass and other pretty
bits of beach litter.
