Surfing Lessons at Lusty Glaze with Dreadnought
The Dreadnought centre will be providing young people across the county
the opportunity to have a surfing lesson at Lusty Glaze, on the 22nd Aug.
The day will consist of a two-hour surfing lesson at Lusty Glaze, during
which Ben Skinner will be showing off his skills and helping to inspire
the young people from our centre. He will then join the young people and
volunteers for lunch and beach games. The Day has been organised on our
behalf by the company KT Active, sponsors of Surfers Against Sewage.
The Dreadnought Centre is a charitable organisation that works extensively
with young people around Cornwall. We use creativity and sport to help
those who have experienced difficulties in their lives. We help to promote
self-esteem, encourage personal development and offer new opportunities
for all those attend.
Would you be able to help in any way, for instance by providing some SAS
stickers or merchandise to give to the young people. There is media
interest, and I am confident that the day will be a success, and a once in
a lifetime opportunity for the young people who will be involved.
It would also be appreciated if you could mention the event on your
website, as a way of thanking KT Active for their generous sponsorship.
