About Aloha
Professional surfing has helped shape the Aloha ethos and has very much driven the design and excellence aspect of the brand, wherever the factory was based over the years, the destination appeal and attraction for travelling or local elite surfer has never diminished. With all the victories and publicity that the Aloha team and brand were generating it was an obvious step to develop the brand across a broader surf related product base. Whilst this decision was obvious to all, it took until the early nineties before any real product development programme was committed to. During this time the international surf market was mobilizing and starting to embrace true global concepts. For most of the nineties Aloha opened territories with conventional Licensing operations and continued to push the Aloha brand with success out to all corners of the surfing globe.
The team has always been one of Aloha's strengths and has boasted such members as Damien Hardman, Barton Lynch, Shane Powell and Beau Emerton,to name a few, over the years. In keeping with Aloha's global push, sponsorship has been at the forefront of the company's marketing strategy, with recent head - to - toe signings of: Richie Lovett - WCT veteran, Mark Mathews - big wave free surfer Other current team members include Matt Bemrose and Drew Courtney.
