The Event
Aloha Surf International Managing Director and ex-Cornish resident - Greg McCarry said :
Richard Hardy, SAS Campaign Director said: "We're delighted to have Aloha's support for what is the most environmentally friendly surf contest on the UK surf circuit. The contest is a big favourite for the UK's top surfers and we hope this year will see it blessed with clean, green waves." With Aloha Europe's base being part of the Cornish landscape (the original site of the SAS HQ) this event is a comfortable fit, both culturally and geographically - along with committed expectations, Aloha views this sponsorship as the beginning of a long term involvement. Equally, Aloha is pleased to support and be involved with the eco principles of the SAS and looks forward to the 2005 Cornish and Open being the greenest event ever with posters being printed on 100% recycled paper, contest tees made from pure organic cotton, and the use of hemp surfboards being incorporated into the contest.
