08:45 24th Aug 06 :: There are 3 bands in the lead according to your guesses so far. Xavier Rudd has come in from no where with 1 in 10 people guessing he will play. There are a few people guessing correctly, so far... more hints to come soon.
11:12 24th August 06 :: Massive response this morning with hundreds more entries. New entries in the list are The Kooks coming in from no where and Automatic gaining large numbers of votes. Feeder have just pushed well ahead of the others. Big hint coming tomorrow morning...
13:55 24th August 06 :: Jack Johnson has just managed to over take Feeder for the most guessed band at the Ball. New entry today, Xavier Rudd is continually climbing as well.
09:55 25th Auguest 06 :: 100s and 100s more guesses over night and this morning. Jack Johnson is still at the top with the most guesses so far. However, that Canadian Xavier Rudd is catching him really fast. I'd say he would over take Jack today. But will either play? The Kooks are climbing really fast and has any one checked out Feeders website recently for anything cryptic? The Automatic, Faithless and Judge Jules have really lost their positions. There are also some really smart "other" guesses coming in with the Arctic Monkeys storming in and new entries Muse are gathering lots of support. So who is it going to be....?
15:43 25th August 06 :: Xavier Rudd has now seriously overtaken Jack streaking into the lead with 1 in 6 people guessing for him. There are also good gains being made by The Kooks and The Automatic and a whooping new entry for Bez (Happy Mondays) doing a DJ set. Has someone posted something somewhere? Ticket sales have suddenly gone into the final rush as well. Ummm.....

16:50 26th Auguest 06 :: Little change in the order of popularity but Xavier Rudd is really stretching out into the lead. Other climbers are the Kooks, The Automatic, Muse and Feeder. Jack Johnson is still second place but how long for? Biggest clue yet will be coming tomorrow...

09:50 28th August 06 :: Xavier Rudd has lost his larger share of the guesses with a big fall back. The Kooks and Feeder seem to be the main alternatives as the guesses go. Automatic and Muse have also taken big drops. Only 4 days to go...
08:47 29th August 06 :: The biggest swing around so far in positioning with The Kooks and Feeder now with the most guesses. Xavier Rudd has dropped out with Jack Johnson still holding level. Other climbers are Judge Jules and The Arctic Monkeys gaining large numbers of votes.
10:50 30th August 06 :: The Kooks and Feeder have both extended their lead with Xavier Rudd gaining a little. The largest increase in guesses is Razorlight. (Would they play the ball again??) Other big climbers are the Arctic Monkeys and Muse. Bad news for Jack Johnson, The Automatic and Judge Jules who both slip a little. The best news though is that we can confirm that 3 artist/bands mentioned on this page will be playing this years massive SAS Ball. Anyone getting a little bit excited yet?
17:50 30th August 06 :: Big late climbs from the Arctic Monkeys and Razorlight. Jack and The Judge are also up slightly. Xavier Rudd is dropping while The Automatic and The Kooks are static. If you look around the web you might find some clues....
10:15 31st August 06 :: Lots of changes in the guessing with favourites The Kooks and Feeder both dropping. Big climbs yet again for the Arctic Monkeys and Razorlight plus new entries for the Dirty Pretty Things and Michael Franti/Spearhead. We are only including artists or bands that score gain at least 1% of the total guesses. It does seem as there are a few other bands out there who are tipped. And lots of people are guessing correctly because there quite a few below playing. Only a day to go.....
17:55 31st August 06 :: Hundreds of more guesses today. I've just been informed by the great organisers that we actually have 4 artist/bands mentioned on these pages playing the Ball and there will be multiple headliners. This has to be the best overall lineup ever....
12:30 1st September 06 :: Huge number of extra votes last night and this morning. Big rise for The Automatic and other gains for Faithless and Spearhead. Not long to go now!
