After three years of undeniable success, the Animal Beach Ball will bounce back with a vengeance in 2005. The ultimate feel good surf festival will hit Cornish shores this summer, bringing its unrivalled mix of surf, music, entertainment, partying and inspiration!
Masterminded by Newquay-based Bare Feet Promotions, the Animal Beach Ball will fire up on Newquay’s Fistral Beach on the 15th, 16th and 17th July and then head onto Tristram Cliffs at Polzeath for the 20th, 21st and 22nd of July. And to add to the momentum, Cornwall’s own surf rock party, the K Festival, will take place at St Minver on the 23rd July.
Animal Beach Ball surf action will be as inspirational as ever with the unique Carve Magazine Surf Battle. This exciting contest gives onlookers the opportunity to see the best in the business, engaging in a battle of wills to chase the title for the most impressive singular wave of the day. The guys and girls bust themselves to create the biggest and most daring moves and provide onlookers with some of the most amazing freestyle surfing seen on UK shores.
Animal Pro Josh Knowles will be determined to defend his ‘Animal Beach Ball Wavemaster’ title which is becoming one of the most sought after in the UK and walk away with the big prize! Women’s and Junior events will showcase the best in surfing talent and the Surfer’s Against Sewage Tag team event is certain to get those in and out of the water going!
